About this site

On noticing

I photograph places that ask for a slower pace — light, weather, distance, and the quiet between moments. This is mostly a record of what I didn’t want to rush past.

What you’ll find here

The photographs on this site are mostly made the same way: slowly. I’m drawn to open space, small details, and scenes that feel calm — or a little melancholic — without needing to shout.

If you’re new here, the gallery rooms are the best place to start. The blog is where I leave a few words behind: where I was, what I noticed, what I was trying to see.

A small note

I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. I work in technology. Photography is the counterweight — a reason to get outside, pay attention, and let a place be itself.

If you’re curious about the work side, it’s on LinkedIn — but this site is mainly about light and weather.
